Explore the Olana landscape with self-guided activities to enrich family visits. Take your sketches home, or donate them to our ongoing public exhibit. Must leave a photo ID until backpack is returned.

Olana is featuring special holiday tours with a richly decorated home, reflecting the manner and style the Church family experienced when celebrating the Christmas holidays at their home at Olana. Excerpts from holiday letters and diary entries will punctuate a tour that relates the spirit of the holidays to the Church family as well as 19th century custom. Victorian Wreathmaking

$10/non-member; $5/member
Mary K. Hughes, Olana Flower Garden Caretaker, will teach the art of creating Victorian wreaths in this hands-on workshop. Exquisite natural materials will be provided. Mary holds degrees in horticulture and floriculture and has a floral design certificate from SUNY Cobleskill Agriculture.
