Olana Tours for Individuals and Families
The Olana Partnership will resume outdoor interpretation with new tours on June 19. Members may book tours for June 13 & 14 Member Appreciation Weekend. If you have any questions about your membership or our Member Appreciation Weekend please email Margot Isaacs.
PLEASE NOTE: The historic interiors of the Main House remain closed at this time.
New York State Parks remain open. Access to Olana’s 250-acre landscape is free. The park is open every day from 8 AM to sunset. Please practice social distancing while you walk, keeping six (6) feet of distance between you and others. Please be aware that you are in a public park and follow protocols laid out by NYS.

This ¼ mile-long walking tour focuses on the integration of landscape and architecture in the siting and design of Olana’s Main House. The route follows the historic carriage road entrance from the site of Frederic Church’s painting studio, past the Mingled Flower Garden, to culminate in the dramatic planned approach to the Main House with panoramic views of the Hudson River Valley.
